Scenic surroundings, historical charm, comfortable community rooms
Room cleaning could be more consistent!!! It's frustrating when towels aren't replaced daily. Communication about check-in could improve, as some guests felt a bit lost. Limited evening activities detract from a more engaging stay!!!

Great and stunning location with magnificent view onto the surround hills. Location right by a lovely conservatory, several restaurants and pubs, and lovely Strathpeffer. Also, to the Ullapool ferry.

The breakfasts are awesome and superb in the hotel, with honey, raspberry jams, potato scones. Everyone is amicable and owner too.
Nothing for me!

Oh, how I wanted to love holly lodge, but the rude staff and the creepy ghost stories really dampened my spirits. Not to mention, I expected a complimentary gesture for such a subpar experience but none was offered. I will say the building has character, though I can hardly enjoy it when I'm feeling unwelcome.

Charming antique decor providing a cozy atmosphere.
The room was uncomfortably warm, made sleeping difficult. I felt a lack of communication regarding amenities, as I wandered around unsure of where to find basic supplies. The odd stories of a resident ghost.

Beautiful Strathpeffer getaway 🏞️
The four-poster bed was a dream, full on comfy, slept like a baby every night! And ja, brekkie was next level with the haggis and all the proper Scottish vibes. Fiona had this hot water bottle waiting for us in the conservatory, such a lekker touch after a chilly day!
Just a bit of a noise from outside at night, but nothing too serious really.

It was just a fitting option for a mini-vacation in Strathpeffer with good value. The wee dram of whisky in the room was a nice touch. Make sure to explore the scenic surroundings outside.

We had such a lovely stay, especially with Fiona providing our little one a big box of toys to keep him entertained. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing afternoons, and the cozy lounge room felt like our home away from home. Just a heads up, one staff member could've been a bit friendlier, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

I stayed in a Double or Twin Room with Shower and it was super comfy! The bed reminded me of sleeping on a cloud, definitely one of the best I've experienced. The decor was really charming, with a nice touch of antique vibes. Plus, the room was clean and tidy. Waking up to those fine views of Strathpeffer was a highlight, too. Just a little warmth in the room at night was the only minor thing-nothing major though!

A good stay with fine views!
I recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay, where I had the chance to relax in a beautifully appointed room with a luxurious four-poster bed and amazing views from the window. Breakfast was a highlight, with high-quality local produce and a fantastic selection including haggis. The communal sun room was a lovely touch. I did find the carpet in the bathroom to be less hygienic than I would prefer.
